"Blindspot" continues with a once-again breathtaking twist.
Jane Doe (Jaimie Alexander), who was rescued by a mysterious man from the head of the CIA in its last episode, learns of the FBI's whereabouts and corrupted ways. A shift in her character has taken place from innocent and loyal FBI fighter to potentially wanting to expose the bureau of its secrets.
There seems to be a strong bond between the mystery man who saved Jane's life, which is a subject the show seems to be aiming toward. Agent Kurt Weller (Sullivan Stapleton) and Jane seem to have a strong romantic interest, but given all of the recent information Jane has received about this mystery man, she's now doubting the entire bureau and Kurt.
We don't know anything about Jane before she lost her memory. From all her flashbacks, she seems to be an intelligent and fierce warrior who was part of some military team. Still, it's unclear as to which team she was fighting for. This could be the season that reveals who Jane really is. The show might be a little frustrating to watch for the next couple of weeks as Jane might potentially turn on her group, but it'll be interesting to see how Jane's character really begins to unfold.
The episode features a man from the military being injected with many drugs, including the one used to wipe Jane's memory. When the FBI catches the the man being used as a drug experiment, the man runs out of the room with Jane following him. As a result of drugs, this soldier attacks Jane by pulling a gun on her, which leads to Kurt shooting him from behind. However, after the incident, Jane begins to look at Kurt differently almost as if he had something to hide.
Jane is pulled between two sides: the good and bad, with the mystery being that . she doesn't know who's who. Next week's episode should give us a closer look at Jane's next move in this sci-fi thriller. Somebody is getting exposed in the upcoming episodes, so stay tuned.
