The Current: SoulSwipe Co-Founder Gianni Coleman

USC student Gianni Coleman sits down with The Current's Cindy Robinson to discuss the dating app Soul Swipe.

By now most of the world is familiar with the dating app Tinder, where you swipe right if you are interested in getting to know the person in the profile or swipe left if you want to pass.

Soul Swipe is very similar to Tinder, but it is made specifically with the black community in mind.

While their slogan is, "Black dating, done right," the app is not exclusive to African Americans only.

USC students seem to have a monopoly on the dating app game. USC students started Tinder and Grindr, and Soul Swipe was founded by current USC student Gianni Coleman.

Coleman joined us in the studio to discuss where the idea for the app came from, celebrities who use it and real success stories from users.
