Singer-songwriter Stacey Ryan initially gained a massive following on TikTok with her original song, “Don’t Text Me When You’re Drunk.” She has since accumulated over 1.5 million followers on the platform. The tune began as an open verse singing challenge on TikTok, resulting in millions of views and a feature on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon. Today, her other posts vary from covers of popular music to original songs and singing challenges.
Originally from Montreal, Canada, Ryan moved to Los Angeles after signing with Island Records after her viral explosion on TikTok. Ryan’s ability to play a range of instruments, from the piano, guitar, bass, ukulele and trumpet, further transcends her musical and songwriting capabilities. Her discography covers classic pop melodies while simultaneously encompassing her jazz background.
Following her performances in L.A., she is preparing for her upcoming North American tour with Jake Wesley Rogers and a European tour with Joshua Bassett later this year.
During the first of three concerts at The Sun Rose, Sophie Holohan performed as the opening act for Ryan. Charlie Curtis-Beard and Sophia James opened for Ryan in the following weeks.
