Forget Valentine’s Day last year. Make plans early for 2017 with part two of “Fifty Shades of Grey” on Feb. 10.
Beyoncé’s “Crazy In Love” has become the official song of the trilogy, as it appears again (performed by Miguel) in the trailer, released Tuesday. The trailer to “Fifty Shades Darker” tells us to forget the past and “slip into something a shade darker.” With over a million views on YouTube, the upcoming film will release with new director, James Foley, to complete the trilogy. But fans—fear not. Based on the trailer, Foley seems to continue the unprecedented, envelope-pushing energy that E.L. James‘ stories have provoked since 2009.
What we know so far? Mrs. Lincoln (Kim Basinger) hides behind a white mask, and Christian and Ana (Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson) pick up where they left off, but on new terms. The trailer gives insight to the eerie ghost girl, the helicopter accident and fear. Only this time around, “no rules, no punishments and no more secrets.”
