Recent studies report a spike in the stress levels among students in universities across the country. a 2017 study by the U.S. Census Bureau found that three out of four students have experienced a sense of “overwhelming anxiety” at some point. Universities nationwide are addressing this by introducing mindfulness program. A growing body of research shows mindfulness, the practice of being aware of our thoughts, feelings and experiences, as an effective way to deal with stress management.
