California’s ‘gig economy’ bill affects USC student freelancers

USC students on what the bill means for them

California’s Assembly Bill 5 is already making waves, even though it only went into effect Jan 1. Included under the bill’s provisions are the USC students who work as freelance writers, artists and musicians. Annenberg Media spoke with several of those students.
