International students struggle to get politically engaged

During the midterm elections, there is a lot of discussion about civic engagement and voting. But a large portion of USC students feel isolated from this process.

International students can feel isolated from political issues on and off campus because they cannot vote and often feel like they don't have a say. In reality, many of the issues, including housing, healthcare and immigration affect them very closely. In order to get international residents engaged, organizations on and off campus are trying to educate, discuss and build a political relationship with these communities.
