Match Volume: Paul Danahar

Since the beginning of the Arab Spring, the Middle East has been through several transformations. While some countries have seen change, others have descended into war. Paul Danahar was the BBC's Jerusalem bureau chief during the Arab Spring. In 2013, he published a book about those revolutions called "The New Middle East: The World after the Arab Spring". Walid El-Atrache sat down with Danahar to talk about "The New Middle East", the Syrian conflict, and why the Arab Spring has failed.
