Mail-in ballots might push back final results in midterm elections

The mail-in method is popular among California residents. But while it’s convenient, it’s not the most efficient.

According to research from the California Secretary of State, over the last six years a majority of Californians voted using mail-in ballots. Unfortunately, that slows down the final tally in elections. That's especially crucial in close races, such as the several occurring across the country.
