Metro Expo Train Strikes and Kills Pedestrian Near USC

The incident occurred near the intersection of Exposition Boulevard and Arlington Avenue

Trains are now resuming normal service with up to 15 minute delays after a Metro Expo line train struck and killed a pedestrian near the Expo/Western station Monday morning, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department. No other injuries were reported.

The pedestrian was identified on Monday as Dylan Krug, 23, according to the coroner's office.

The incident occurred near the intersection of Exposition Boulevard and Arlington Avenue. Officials are closing off the surrounding area to traffic.

LAPD and Metro officials were on the scene investigating the incident. Metro reported on Twitter that the incident has now been cleared.
