The Current: American Dreams

This week on The Current, we look at the American Dream through the eyes of first generation college students, presidential candidates and millennials pursuing their dream careers.

What does the American Dream mean to you? For some, it means being able to own a home or provide for their family. For others, it's finding fulfillment in their careers, finding fame and fortune, winning an Olympic medal, or going to college. Presidential candidates are also referencing the American Dream this election cycle, with some saying the very idea is under threat.

This week, we spoke with first generation college students here at USC, millennials finding their way in the workforce and a Trojan coach who found a new life guiding athletes toward their own dreams.
