Covid19 has completely changed USC . Most students have left campus and all classes have become strictly online. But for students in Thornton, the hassle of switching to online classes goes a lot further than just having to download Zoom. To understand how these students are adapting to the current situation, Taj Mayfield spoke to his friend Errol Rhoden, a sophomore in majoring in Music Performance.

“In terms of performance grades, for the classical division all recitals have been canceled,” Rhoden said. “And it’s tough to get extremely detailed [over Zoom], especially because a lot of us don’t have the recording equipment needed.”

One solution students are exploring is the Instagram account @uscthornton, where students can submit performances from anywhere. The segment is called “Live From Somewhere.”
