Instead of sitting in a lecture hall, UCLA students have started attending classes online. At this time there are no cases reported on campus, the school has suspended in-person classes until April 10, 2020. All nonessential gatherings of more than 100 people are canceled, and UCLA Athletics will not allow spectators to attend games.
Students are still using campus facilities. Arthur Ashe Student Health and Wellness had staff stationed outside the building asking people walking into the center if they had any symptoms like a cough or fever. Chancellor Gene Block has said that the University is working with public health officials to plan for every possible scenario.
