On Monday, Dec. 2, Saugus High School students went back to school for the first time since the shooting in November. It was their first day as they ease back into the week, with their first full day of school later in the week on Thursday. Counselors were available to meet with students as they work toward healing from the tragedy.

On November 14, a student shot and killed two students before shooting himself. He died later at the hospital. Three other students were injured.

The Saugus community is working to uplift the students, with signs of support around the school and surrounding neighborhoods and blue ribbons tied to fences and posts.
