Many people who work on campus were treated a free lunch on November 11th. The Student Coalition Against Labor Exploitation, or SCALE and the Latinx Student Assembly organized this first work appreciation lunch for people working for USC.

Workers from different departments gathered around and enjoyed food in two or threes. On each table, at least one SCALE member had a conversation with workers, listening to how workers feel when they are working for USC.

SCALE member said it was important to recognize these employees who do manual work on campus. One of the purposes for the luncheon was to raise awareness and support workers.

Some workers said they were happy to work for USC, while some complained that the load was big.
