The Tejano singer's family celebrated and remembered Selena Quintanilla's life and trajectory last week. Digital media studies professor Dr. Nathian Shae Rodriguez also celebrated her life by announcing that he'll be teaching a new course at San Diego State University that will talk about the singer, as well as how she still influences today's pop culture, fashion, branding, and marketing. In hand with that, he'll be teaching students about the greater impact of that and just how important it is to have Latinx representation in the media.
