USC Provost Michael Quick signed off on a policy that made USC a smoke free campus on January 10, 2017. However, nearly a month after the smoking ban went into effect, it wasn't hard to find people smoking on campus. Representatives from the Office of Environmental Health and Safety are handing out cards to help educate students about the ban, but it may take some time for the campus culture to change.
