Crews discovered a leak in the Aliso Canyon storage facility back in October 2015, according to SoCalGas. Jane Fowler, a resident in Granada Hills, was forced to move out of her home for seven months.

She still experiences health issues from the leak, despite the fact that she was cleared to move home in June 2016, she said. "For seven months, you do start to feel better, then you're excited to get home and literally eight hours after I arrived home, my stomach blew up and it looked like I was pregnant," Fowler told Annenberg Media. Fowler said she hopes the facility will be shut down permanently.
