Universal Studios Hollywood is the perfect holiday/winter retreat. The theme park celebrates the season with its annual Grinchmas and new hot Butterbeer when you visit the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. So grab some hot Butterbeer and enjoy the festivities, including the tall decorated tree and the Grinch's dog, Max.
Grinchmas offers many fun activities for its visitors. There's the Who-ville Post Office, where guests can write out their good deeds to send to the Grinch. From one good deed to another, Dr. Suess Enterprises and Random House Children's Books will donate a book to a child in need, which goes with the well-fitted campaign title "Grow Your Heart 3 Sizes." And who can forget about the Grinch's moral compass and friend, Max? Max is also there for the fun, available for pictures. Guests can also decorate ornaments and watch Who-liday performances with music and dance.
The Wizarding World of Harry Potter gives Hogsmeade visitors a sight Californians don't see very often: snow — or the illusion of it. The rooftops of Hogsmeade that usually send cooler vibes during the summer make winter feel true. Accompanied by hot Butterbeer and a very magical atmosphere, wintertime at the Wizarding World gives a new meaning to the Harry Potter experience.
Grinchmas is at Universal Studios Hollywood until Jan. 1, 2017. Buy tickets here.
