Uber announced on Thursday that the company has signed on more than 6,000 drivers in the last six months, which has some drivers criticizing the vetting process for new applicants. This influx comes as a result of Uber's "Work On Demand" initiative, which the company announced last March to partner with 12,000 drivers by April 2017.
