The Huffington Post made headlines (other than its own) this summer when the online news organization made the decision to cover Donald Trump exclusively in its entertainment section at the onset of the 2016 election cycle.

The mainstream media, HuffPo included, has come under fire recently for the way it has treated the controversial candidate, calling into question the media's responsibility to news consumers during an election cycle. But Arianna Huffington, editor-in-chief of the Huffington Post, stands by her initial decision to classify Trump as an entertainer, not as a serious politician.

Huffington stopped by Studio B during her Sleep Revolution college tour to speak with Executive Editor Martha Daniel about her coverage decisions, the new digital media landscape, and of course, the necessity of getting a good eight hours a night.
